The International Association of Messaging Professionals (IAMP) conference was held from October 15-18, 2006 in Las Vegas. IAMP is an international professional association that focuses on unified messaging and messaging applications of all types including voice mail, speech, presence, e-mail and fax technologies. Lyrix CEO Jeff Graham was a featured speaker of the show, discussing the evolution of speech attendants to people virtualization.

 

IAMP members attend the IAMP Conference to learn about the latest in messaging trends, view and demonstrate vendor products and services, and network and collaborate with other professionals. This year's IAMP's National Conference 2006 included sponsors and exhibitors from every major manufacturer in the industry.

 

Lyrix attended IAMP in 2004 and 2005, and is again participated as a Bronze sponsor for 2006. Lyrix hosted a product display booth for demonstrations and discussion.

ACUTA, the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education, is an international nonprofit educational association serving colleges and universities.  ACUTA represents nearly 2000 individuals at 825 institutions of higher education with members ranging from small schools and community colleges to the 50 largest U.S. institutions representing diverse Carnegie classifications in all 50 states, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

INSIGHT 100, Inc. was formed in 1985 to establish a forum for users of the Nortel SL-100 product. The purpose of the INSIGHT 100 forum is for member institutions and their representatives to get together and discuss concerns, applications, and performance as they relate to the Nortel SL-100 PBX. On the 23rd Lyrix will both presenting its Unified Communication solutions and customer experiences to attendees as well as hosting a solution booth on the 24th for demonstrations and discussion.
